Ross Ancell (UK/NZ)
Ross has considerable experience as an Executive Chairman, Non-Executive Director, business owner and serial entrepreneur across privately owned, Private Equity backed and publicly quoted companies.
Currently a Non-Executive Director of House builder/Developer MJ Gleeson PLC (LSE listed), and leading Macau Gaming and Hospitality participant Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited (HKSE listed) as well as Chairman of Churngold Construction Holdings Limited, a sizeable regional Groundworks operator. Ross has an extensive international perspective, including detailed business knowledge of UK, Hong Kong and Asia, professional experience across the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Previously, Ross led the management buy-in of MDS Technologies, which is now a Top 30 supplier to UK government’s digital marketplace.
Ross’ philanthropic activities include membership of the Society of Merchant Venturers, a Bristol based civic institution with membership drawn from the business community in the region. The organisation invests heavily in young people, education, enterprise and entrepreneurship and caring for the elderly and Ross chairs the governing body of Merchants’ Academy, a schools’ trust in south Bristol. Ross is a qualified accountant with an ACA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and he has a Management Studies degree the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
Cathie Reid (Aus)
Cathie is the Co-Founder of Australia’s Epic Group, including Epic Pharmacy and Epic Good Foundation, and Digital Advisor to the Icon Group Board.
Epic Pharmacy is one of Australia’s largest pharmacy service providers to the hospital, oncology and aged care sector, participating in the healthcare of more than 100,000 Australians each year.
Icon Group, which includes Icon Cancer Care, Radiation Oncology Centres (ROC) and Slade Health, is Australia’s fastest growing provider of integrated cancer care services. The Group has recently expanded its footprint beyond Australia, with the acquisition of Icon SOC in Singapore, a radiation oncology partnership in China, and agreement to build an integrated cancer centre in New Zealand.
Cathie is also the Chair of Flamingo Customer Experience Inc., an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) company developing customer experience automation platforms designed for selling complex financial products online, and sits on the Board of the Brisbane Lions Australian Rules Football Club. She has been recipient of several industry awards and honours including: induction into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame in 2015, named one of the Top 100 Women of Influence by the Australian Financial Review in 2013, winner of the National Telstra Business Women’s Award in 2011, and recognised by Monash University with a Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement in 2012.
Cathie’s fascination in breaking new ground saw her invited to be part of the original Google Glass Explorer program and is one of Virgin Galactic’s future astronauts. She eagerly awaits the opportunity to travel into space and see the world from a very different perspective.
Cathie regularly speaks on a broad range of topics, including digital healthcare, wearable technology, entrepreneurial lessons from the Epic business story and the role of women in leadership.
Phil Dawson (UK)
Chief Executive Officer
Most recently Phil was the co-founding CEO of Skyscape Cloud Services (now ukcloud), which has grown to become the leading provider of assured cloud infrastructure services to the UK Public Sector and recently identified in the TechTrack 100 as the fastest growing privately owned technology business in the UK over the last three years.
Previously, Phil co-founded PA3, enabling US entertainment and media companies to mobilise their early digital content as well as acquiring MDS and positioning it for the age of digital. MDS was also in the TechTrack 100 as #54 and the fastest growing technology business in the south-west of England.
Phil is passionate about helping technology companies innovate and scale. Previous experience includes Director of New Ventures/e-Business for GKN Plc, where he reported into the Main Board and worked across an extensive portfolio of business activities across, Europe, America, Asia and Australia.
Phil was previously a Main Board member of TechUK, the UK technology industry association, as well as Chair of the Cloud and Mobile Services Council and a member of the UK’s Information Economy Council and in 2013 co-authored the UK Data Capability Strategy. Phil has an MBA from London Business School and a Chemistry degree from the University of Sussex.
Scott Wilkie (AUS)

Scott is a highly experienced Senior Executive and Company Director focused on developing exceptional global companies. With an international investment banking career with Credit Suisse and UBS on Wall Street, Silicon Valley and across APAC, Scott has become a Founder, Senior Executive and advisor to a number of innovative companies redefining public sector transformation in the UK and Australia.
Most recently, Scott has co-founded both the Australian VC fund, Wavebreak Ventures and Australian IaaS business, GovCloud, while providing strategic policy advice to a range of Australian government departments and Prime Minister’s Office relating to their digital transformation. Scott is a recognised expert in the application of assurance standards and practices that underpin the development of trust in digital services across an extensive network of businesses and government organisations.
Currently a Director and advisory member of a number of start-up companies, Scott also invests considerable time supporting youth physical and mental health causes. Scott has a Law Degree from the Queensland University of Technology combined with numerous financial certifications and qualifications.
Gonzalo Trujillo (UK)

Gonzalo is a highly experienced Commercial and Finance Executive focused on building innovative businesses, including SaaS and Cloud Businesses and acting as a Senior Executive, Founder, Director and Investor. Gonzalo has led and successfully delivered numerous rounds of debt and equity funding in private and publicly quoted businesses and UK PFI.
Currently a Director, Investor and advisory member of a number of disruptive consumer facing and technology companies and founder of Heron Capital, a private equity company, focused on investing in local UK start-up businesses where he brings his business building expertise in an executive and non-executive capacity.
Gonzalo qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has an Engineering Degree from Brunel University.
